- Scribing in this class is optional. Please see me in person if you want to scribe a class. You should write all of your notes in latex. I will try to have a latex reference book on reserve in the library. You can use the program xfig to make your postscript figures. Before you begin scribing, you should talk to me to see if I already have notes handwritten or scribed.
- Here is a not so short introduction to Latex
- If your scribe notes are based on scribe notes from previous years, then make sure that you credit all previous scribes by putting their names in a footnote.
- Here is one sample scribing of lectures: sample1.tar. (To untar, type "tar -xvf sample1.tar".)
- Here is the template for scribing: template.tex.
